Questions dealers ask.
Do I need to install an app?
No. It opens in the browser on the phone you already have and uses that phone’s camera.
What if the signal’s bad out on the lot?
Keep shooting. Every photo saves on the phone as you take it, and none is deleted until it’s safely on your site. Tap Upload when you’re back in range.
What if someone shoots the wrong angle?
Move the photo to the right angle before it uploads. Nobody reshoots anything.
Do I have to shoot all 18 angles?
No. Upload whatever you have. Not every car has a liftgate or a backup camera.
Is this a DMS?
No. LotEngine handles the car: photos, your website, the window sticker and the Buyers Guide. Deals, financing and titles stay where they are.
Who owns the website?
The domain is registered in your name, on your card. If you leave, you keep it.
Will moving my website break my email?
No. Before anything changes, I find where your email lives and leave it alone. Only the website moves.
And the photos?
They’re yours. If you leave, I send you every photo of every car, as they appear on your site.
Is there a contract?
Month to month, with 30 days’ notice. The yearly plan is paid up front and isn’t refunded partway through.
